Description of the session

What can leaders and their teams learn from the army? It turns out a lot! Just like on the battlefield in the business environment, we face uncertainty, incomplete information and sudden changes, and our people need a strong leader. So what conclusions from the functioning of the army are useful for business and how can they be implemented in an organization?

The experience of the British army has proved that today issuing orders and setting tasks is not enough - leaders must refer to the goal and context if they want to involve teams in making the right decisions and consolidate proactive attitudes. On what competences and leadership attitudes should the new leadership model be based?

In this session you will learn:

Why does business transformation in the new normal 2.0+ require new leadership models?
What inspiration and solutions can leaders draw from the best armies and military commanders?
Military patterns of attitudes and behavior of leaders - what do they consist of and how can we easily adapt them?
The Contemporary Battlefield and the Current Business Environment - What Lessons Can Leaders Learn in the Context of Operating in a Highly Uncertainty and With Incomplete Information?
How can leaders reconcile operational consistency with agility and adaptability at the same time?
What qualities of a leader are needed to be effective in the new world?
How to overcome the conflict between command and control? Why is it worth doing this if you want to be a better leader?
New types of teams - what kind of people do they form and what is their role?
